About Reecas-nw	English (USA)
REECAS-NW is an electronic forum for people in the Northwest who have programs related to the former Soviet Union or Eastern Europe. REECAS-NW is a place where organizations can announce events, programs, visitors, or other information they would like to share with the "local" northwest community concerned with that area of the world. Subscribers come from various organizations and backgrounds -- academia, businesses, public schools, non-profit organizations -- and have an interest in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union. REECAS-NW is a public service brought to you by the Ellison Center for Russian, East European, Central Asian Studies (REECAS) at the UW, one of seven National Resource Area Studies Centers at the Jackson School of International Studies (JSIS), UW.
