Drupal has a pubcookie plugin (or module) that can use the UW authentication servers to log people into the CMS. It is very easy to install and use. We have implemented it on several websites. You basically create an account with username "uwnetid" and any password and once you are logged in with pubcookie you are logged into the Drupal site.

You might ask her for specifics. She got a lot of her information from Dan Druliner in F2, who I assume works with Angie.

F2 uses Drupal for our websites. There is a netID authentication option, although I don't know the specifics of how it was/could be set up. But it's definitely possible.
