Well, bummer: apparently Mac Office 2011 was given short shrift because I can find no way to add alt text for an image, at least not by following the instructions. The Xmas...d'oh...sorry, holiday grinch strikes again!

If any of you have 2011, maybe you could take a look and let me know if you concur.
