Dear Students,
If you are interested in teaching, or even remotely interested in what
Teach for America is all about, please attend one of these sessions. The
presenter on 1/23 is a former math major who is currently a corps member.
Come and here what he has to say.
Information Session:
When; Thursday January 19 at 4pm
Where; HUB 200C
Teach For America alumnus and recruitment director, Lauren Newman will
speak of her telling experiences as a Teach For America corps member and
answer any questions about the program. Students will have the opportunity
to see why ending educational inequity must be our generation’s civil
rights issue and what Teach For America is doing to address this pervasive
problem. Students will learn through personal accounts, how they too can
directly expand the educational prospects of children born into low-income
communities. Food will be provided
