The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences (DEOHS) is
proud to sponsor the Environmental Health Research Experience Program (EH-REP)
. The goal of the program is to provide opportunities for select science
undergraduates to experience current environmental health research while
exploring possible graduate study options. While the program is open to all
applicants, under-represented students are strongly encouraged to apply.

The program offers a $5200 stipend for 10 weeks of full time participation in
environmental health research and various non-optional workshops. All students
receive mentoring by participating DEOHS faculty and/or graduate assistants or
post-docs. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in research
and environmental health.

*Environmental and occupational health* is an interdisciplinary field that uses
the tools of science to solve human health problems related to the environment.
If you want to use your science background to help people live healthier lives,
this research program might be for you.

To find more information or to apply, students can visit our program website.
www.ehrep.washington.edu If you have any questions, feel free to email me at
ehug at u.washington.edu or call 206-616-4177.

Priority deadline: Feb. 15. We will consider applications that arrive after
the 15th on a space available basis.
Thanks!
