They're there alright - see my previous mails about patches to fix
configure.ac to detect GSS ;). The problem is that -I/usr/include is
not in the CFLAGS afaict, possibly.
But before I go modifying stuff, I want to know if I'd be better off
just converting the Makefiles concerned over to automake..

Well, the imap/ directory hasn't had the Makefiles converted to
automake. Autoconf and automake take care of a lot of stuff by
ensuring various things that were detected by configure get
substituted into the makefiles.
I'd like to know whether it'd be better to fix the existing build
system under imap/, or whether to try just write Makefile.am's for
