[Alpine-info] Setting default user-id on non-Windows platform

How can I define the default user-id on a non-Windows platform with 
alpine-2.00?

In the old days when I used PC-Pine, I could define the "user-id" config 
value.  But that value is ignored on non-Windows platforms.

The main problem I've seen with this is when I need to "Bounce" a message. 
It appears my ISP must be looking at the Resent-From header and sees that 
it doesn't match my email address (used for SMTP AUTH) and rejects the 
message.
