[Alpine-info] a message filter is not running

How about running an alpine session with debugging turned up and sending
the debug file to us to look at? That should show where the problem is
happening.
Add a -d9 flag to your usual alpine invocation and start alpine.
I assume that is the point where some filtering should have happened but
didn't.
Now do the search command that mrc mentioned so we can see the results
of the successful search in the debug file, too. That search is
; T F alpine-alpha-request
Exit alpine.
Save .pine-debug1 to a different file (because running alpine again will
change the filename to .pine-debug2).
Send that file to us at alpine-contact at u.washington.edu or just to me if
you would rather.
