[Alpine-info] justification in alpine

I see to note a difference in the way the ^Justify command works in alpine
with respect to pine. Is it possible I have inadvertently changed some
configuration feature, or is it a real change ?

In pine I used to type a paragraph indenting the text with a few blanks
e.g.

this is a line of text which starts the paragraph and then
happily continues in the next line and goes on and on until it
joins a larger way when full stops are met.

If I located myself on a line and pressed control-J the para was justified
respecting the indentation (an indent by a DIFFERENT number of blanks
stopped justification), like this

this is a line of text which starts the paragraph and then happily
continues in the next line and goes on and on until it joins a larger
way when full stops are met.

while now justification seems not to work on indented paras (only if they
start in column 1 or have reply prefixes)

Is there a configuration to repristinate the pine style ?
