Several things have gotten confused.  Hisashi is pointing out that he did 
not experience in Pine the autozoom feature he is now experiencing in 
Alpine.  So I have to wonder if there are different default settings for 
autozoom in the two programs.  Secondly, while we all can appreciate the 
autozoom feature (whether it is on by default or not), it is harder to 
agree to appreciate the autozoom on deselect feature.

If we can focus on the question of whether autozoom on deselect is a good 
idea, we'll all be better off.  One thing I haven't heard is an argument 
as to why that is a good feature.
