[Alpine-info] Alpine Questions

Hello ~

I am new to using alpine. I like it so far but I have one question. I
download my emails with getmail right now set up for maildir so I have
new, cur, tmp dir. Alpine reads the emails fine the question I have is why
before I even read the email does alpine move the new email to cur? But it
still flags it as new in alpine but it is in the cur dir now instead of
the new.

I would rather it keep the new emails in the new folder until I read them
and then move it to the cur dir. Is this possible?
