I don't know if you know that you can do this for Incoming folders. The 
idea is that you put all of the folders that receive mail in your incoming 
folders list and you can choose which of those you'd like to see the 
number of unseen messages for. If you already know about that, sorry for 
the noise. Search for all occurences of "incoming check" in the 
Setup/Config screen.
