[Alpine-info] LDAP Protocol Error Help

Well, I had our network administrator try changing the setting in 
ldap.conf and ended up breaking log on and access to the system.  We 
quickly set it back to being commented out to default to LDAPv3.

So, it is still not working for Alpine on a Windows system.  I am going to 
check to see if I can test LDAP access from Alpine on a Vista machine to 
see if that makes a difference.

If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve Alpine on Windows from 
defaulting to LDAPv2, please let me know.
