[Alpine-info] newbie, howto receive emails???

Hello, at this time I am very new to alpine and not familar with alpine.

Til now I was working with thunderbird.

I have successfully alpine compiled and installed.

The first thing I was missing is the configuration section for mailaccounts.
Where I have to configure pop server or imapserver for incoming mails? I was
searching in the documentation but there was not such point. It seems for
this task is a further application required... but which?

Normally I want to read messages from several pop and imap accounts. It
would be nice when somebody can give me a hint....
