alpine-info is a fine place to send the patches to.  Presumably the UW 
people still read that list.

I was the developer of UW IMAP until last May.  Afterward, I forked the 
IMAP software into Panda IMAP.  There's a lot in Panda IMAP that isn't in 
UW IMAP.  As far as I know, the only things that have happened in UW IMAP 
are a handful critical bugfixes.
