Tenex and its successor TOPS-20 had CLIs that were quite intuitive, with
content sensitive help and full completion.
To this day, there are people who use the UNIX port of MM, the MUA that I
developed (I was not the original author) for TOPS-20 in the late 1970s
and early 1980s, rather than use Pine/Alpine. I don't agree with their
viewpoint, but I understand it.
