My menu looks like this:

[ ] Quote Replace Nonflowed
[X] Save Combines Copies (may be out of order) (default)
[ ] Save Partial Message Without Confirming

I'm slightly confused. Isn't the number of messages to be saved always
one? I go through my email, and if there's something i want to save, i hit
s and then hit return - and then i wait. Is there a better way i could be
doing this?

When you say 'converting', do you mean from mbox to mix/mbx, or from
plain-mbox to alpine-mbox? If the latter, why do you re-incur the hit if
you don't use Save Combines Copies? Is there somewhere i can read more
about this UID stuff? Where is it in the source code?
