I certainly wouldn't recommend this, but would Outlook Express on the Mac
be an alternative?  I know it's not the "full" Outlook as on Windows, but
I thought at least for email, it did what Outlook does.  But maybe it's only
a POP and IMAP client, I'm not sure.

(Again, this is a *bad* choice even if it works... but possibly could
be better than nothing.)
