Good day,
I was curious whether along with the license change in Alpine
would there would be renewed interest in expanding the functionality
of the mail browser as well. I have a quick patch which
was designed around less code duplication but may be more intrusive
as a result, in order to add reverse searches to the mail index.
I welcome any feedback on it.
The ^W key combination was fairly arbitrary but is at least memorable
with the mnemonic forWard/backWard, but I'm not in any way whetted
to it. I would be grateful if the patch or a derivative thereof
were considered for inclusion, and congrats on the license change.
