No, there isn't. These entries are left there and expunged in a few days
(do not recall how long now, but they are automatically expunged after a
certain period of time that takes a few days). These entries are preserved
in case you want to recover them.
It is safe to remove the lines that were commented out by Alpine. This
will not damage the addressbook file.
