:) So you, an ex-student who was never a team member, somehow has

:) exclusive knowledge of the current situation?

Never said that. Re-read what I replied to, then you will figure out what
I meant to say.

:) What makes you think that UW will EVER create a public write

:) repository?

Never implied that.

:) What makes you think that they would want such a thing?

Never implied that.

:) What makes you think that they should have such a thing?

Never implied that either.

:) You don't know what "hack" means, but I won't waste my time instructing

:) you. Don't you dare sass me on this point.

I know what a hack is, and as many words it has many senses in which it
can be used. I do not see why you use that language with me.

:)

:) Your "explanation" is funny because it is completely divorced from

:) reality.

Not at all.

:) You were never a staff member. You got special, privileged, access to

:) create a staff.washington.edu web page. I was at the meeting when that

:) was decided.

It is correct that I got a special privilege. I never claimed otherwise.
Don't you understand that I am very thankful that UW did that for me?
Never said anything that contradicted what you said. But what you don't
know is that you were not at the place when it was decided that this
account continued. Someday UW will close this account, I hope that will
make you happy and stop harassing me about this.

:) Nor is myuw.net is for ex-employees.

Really? didn't know. Too bad.

:)

:) Hah! If you really believe that, you are on drugs.

Not really. That's not my thing.

:) > You should not be preaching about what you are not doing.

:)

:) If my advice to this list is unwanted, I will unsubscribe.

Are you calling advice about becoming a developer what you said to the
person that mentioned the Pine license. That seemed like a rant, and you
have given many of them to me. That's not advice, that's opinion, and you
are entitled to having one, just do not believe that others have to agree
with you because you think strongly about something. You have valid
reasons to think your way. Others can also think strongly and/or
differently, and they have their good reasons too.

:) I already know that advice to you is futile.

Despite what you say, or the image you want people to believe about me, I
am a very reasonable person. It is fine if you don't like me. Just stop
pretending that you know it all and I know nothing. I will take your good
advice when it's good. The bad one will disappear in the aether.
