In case anyone wants a copy of the subversion repository, I mirrored it 
(including history) and have a copy of it here: 
http://people.freebsd.org/~scf/alpine-repo.tar.bz2

I will keep it there awhile at least until the next time I remember (6 
months on average :)) to remove files from there.
