[Alpine-info] The #mailbox challenge

A user here has created some mailboxes that have names starting
with the "#" character. Something to do with sorting. He reported
this problem, and I was able to replicate it. Call it #foo.

If I read a message in inbox and try to save it to an existing
folder named #foo, Alpine (1.00) responds "Folder doesn't exist.
Create?". Answering yes gets "[Folder already exists]".

If #foo does not exist, same question, and if I answer yes, Alpine
will create it and save the message to it, but that's it, I still
can't save any more messages to it.

I have not figured out a trick to get it to recognize that #foo is
an existing folder.

Yes, I know, you tell the doctor it hurts when I do this, and the
doctor says... Seriously, if anyone can figure out how to input
this folder name so that it works, that would be great.
