I've set this up according to the detailed instructions on the web page.

And this is where it fails. I have a mbox file ("folder") named 'personal'
in ~/mail and an inbox named 'twodogs'; the contents are the same since the
latter is an alias for the former. The procmail recipe and .pinerc put the
messages in the personal file. But, when I respond to them I cannot select
that alternative domain.
This is why I'm convinced that I've not properly set up the alternative
role and the mail files.
