I have Alpine 1.00 with Eduardo Chappa's patches. I am trying to send from
the command line (as a test towards a crontab).
alpine -I"^X,y"
-subject 'anything'
-signature-file=''
address
< file
if I omit the initial keystroke pine loads my file OK (and of course
awaits for manual sending)
If I had -I (with double quotes around ^X,y, single quotes, no quotes,
with or without separating blank after -I) I get Problem detected:
"Received abort signal(sig=11)". Alpine Exiting. and creates a
/poseidon/lucio/.pine-crash
If I use ^Xy the composer loads my file OK and then gives [Bad initial
keystroke "^Xy" (missing comma?)] (which is correct)
So I tried -I ^X and -feature-list=send-without-confirming
This does not crash but loads the file in the composer and awaits for
manual sending.
Ah ... the option is named "Send Without Confirming" in .pinerc (MSC)
but should be passed as -send-without-confirm. This way it is merged with
.pinerc, but still has no effect.
I also tried to set send-without-confirming permanently in .pinerc
and issuing the command with just -I ^X, but still this goes in the
composer and awaits for manual sending.
