Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. That's exactly what I was doing.

Nope, it won't let me export:
[Can't Export Text. Use "Save" to write file, "<" to leave index.]
So the file is a ".c,v" (a CVS repository file), and alpine thought it was
text, so did character set conversion on it.. That seems very bad to me.
If I were *viewing* the file, I could understand/expect it to do the conversion
while viewing it.
I guess now I want a way to turn off ALL character set conversion for
attachments, even though it might cause me more problems in the future.
