[Alpine-info] Problems with Yahoo! Small Business Email SMTP Server

Yahoo's SMTP server is broken and non-compliant with the SMTP-SASL 
specification.  I informed Yahoo about this matter several years ago.

Specifically: "334 ok, go on" is not a valid SMTP-SASL challenge, the 
valid SMTP-SASL challenge isn't being sent, and without that valid 
challenge Alpine's SMTP-SASL cannot proceed.

There is no workaround for this problem.  If you can not persuade Yahoo to 
fix this bug (and other people have tried in the past), the only thing 
that you can do is use some other provider.

I'm sorry if you spent money for Yahoo's service.  It is defective, it has 
been defective for several years, and Yahoo simply does not care.  That is 
part of the reason why Yahoo is a miserable third behind Google and 
Microsoft.
