I'm not an alpine developer but I've used pine/alpine heavily daily for
over a decade so maybe I can comment. It's been quite a while since I made
this change but I'd say this shouldn't be a problem. There will be teething
problems with any new technology but I recall thinking that pine -> alpine
was a pretty smooth transition. Props to the developers.
