:) Speaking in general, it is a common feature of other POP3 UAs that the
:) mail can be left on the server.
No matter which program you use, the Gmail pop3 server will remove the
message from the server once it is retrieved. This has nothing to do with
Alpine. Alpine leaves messages in the server, the server is the one
deleting them.
