[Alpine-info] Can send/receive and save to IMAP folders but cannot _view_ messages on server.

Correct, you must configure Alpine specifically to use the folders in your 
IMAP server. Press M S L A now and enter the following information


Nickname  : This is anything you want.
Server    : lavabit.com/ssl/user=nharris at lavabit.com
Path      : 
View      : 

Then save/exit. Now you should be able to read your folders in the server.
