Personally I would prefer (for the time being) to update the alpine
package and provide a virtual provides 'realpine', until things become
more clear.

I was not representing all distribution packagers though ;-)
Another question, we include various functionality from Eduardo Chappa.
Are those expected to support realpine as well (now and in the future) ?
As without those, we'd be reducing functionality extensively :-/
