[Alpine-info] running alpine on server and local pc - problem found

i think i may have found what the problem is.

when i set up the filters, i defined the designated folder as a local 
folder in the filter action section. after i changed to remote folder, 
alpine works i.e. i can ssh into the server using my laptop using wireless 
connection and use alpine.

i guess the reason why alpine is unresponsive (i.e. sorting inbox 
remains at 0%) when i ssh into the server is because it tries to sort the 
mails in inbox into their designated local folders which does not exist.

that's all the explanation i can give.
