[Alpine-info] Possible Missing Bell/Beep on New Mail

All,

 	I think I remember that PINE used to produce a terminal bell 
(a.k.a beep or xkbbell) whenever a new mail messages was found. 
Currently, however, the bell produced by ALPINE 2.02 (re-alpine F15) seems 
unpredictable.  For example, only the first check that finds a new message 
produces a bell.  The next check will not produce a bell even if more new 
messages have arrived since the previous check.
 	Is this a change or am I just remembering PINE incorrectly?  I 
don't need a separate bell for every new message, but I'd like one for 
each check that found new mail.
