Hope I'm not beating a dead horse, but have you seen this:
http://www.nano-editor.org/dist/v2.2/nanorc.5.html#KEY BINDINGS
Might cost you a little time to make it do what you want, but it seems
completely within the capabilities of nano to do your keybindings however
you like.
