Dear All,
Lian Ping Wang, from University of Delaware, will be visiting the UW
next Friday. His research interests are multiphase flows, large scale
numerical simulation of turbulence and atmospheric flows, in
particular cloud processes that involve turbulence-drop interactions.
He will give a seminar within the Campus-wide Fluid Mechanics
Seminars. I am attaching an abstract for his talk. Please feel free
to forward it to anyone who may be interested and post it in a
visible place.
He will be available for meetings Some of you have already talked to
me about meeting him, but there are still spots available. If you
would like to meet with him for a half an hour, I am putting together
an schedule for his visit, so contact me with a convenient time/times.
I will look forward to talking to you soon.
Best regards,
Alberto
