info needed please!

First let me introduce my self again. My name is Lee Myles I am a rbk due
to an industrial accident 4yrs ago. I am 29yr male with a son 4 and a
daughter 2 and oh yeah a wife too(just kidding).

 I would greatly appreciate some input on how this list and ACA membership
and conferences have effected your life. The reason for this is I deal with
WCB for all my needs due to my amputation. I was fortunate to come across
this list before my actual amputation was done and was able to get very
helpful and important imformation to help in my rehabilitation back to
somewhat normal life.
 I was also able to attend the ACA conference in Chicago last year and meet
some very special people from the list and get some excellent imformation
as well. I am in the process of fighting for the ACA membership and avenues
for people in similar situations so their is a place to gather knowledge
and support for helping in the rehabilitation process. Their excuse was if
we let you have that then we have to let everyone get one too. Which my
reply is it should be available for everyone. Since imformation and support
I have found is hard to come by especially in Canada. It saddens me that
imformation and support are not considered important in the rehabilitation
process and recovery process. I truly beleive that knowledge is power and I
want to be able to get that support and knowledge. If nothing else my
prostetist is going to give a free life time membership to all his clients
who purchase limbs from him which is a start in the right direction.
