Hi Mike,
Glad you joined the list and am sorry it took me so long to welcome you. I am 
way behind on my email as you can see. Our son, Steve, is the amputee and 
lost his leg, hip and pelvis (hemipelvectomy) due to a motorcycle accident 
Aug. 15, 1997. He comes by his stubbornness honestly as both of his parents 
were jarheads. A good fit right from the beginning is important and if you 
ever are not satisfied with your prosthesis, don't hesitate to contact your 
prosthetist. After all they aren't wearing the leg and aren't mind readers.
