Well, Richard, at least they didn't tell you it was your female hormones
changing the fit of the socket, and not their fault.  I was always puzzled
that the "female cycle change" in my stump, as decreed by a crummy
prosthetist never coincided with the change in how a ring fits on my fingers,
or any possible change in how my clothing fits.  Actually, the changes in
weather affect me far more than hormones do!  But I don't see how those
are going to have much affect on a residual limb which is under compression
most of the time!

I've seen my share of incompetent prosthetists over the nearly 29 years that
I've been an amputee.  And some of the ones I found incompetent are now
respected consultants in the industry!
