Greg - Unexplained??? Do people always notice events that may not seem related
to the bouts of phantom 'pain' which they experience?? I don't know whether
others find this to be true but I can elicit, cause to happen, sensations in my
phantom and stump by contracting abdominal and bowel muscles - which to me
means that events in those areas, not necessarily the muscles, are involved
in phantom and stump sensations, including pain. EG, when my bowel is
irritated I have episodes of intense phantom sensation. Can one generalize at
all from this? George B.
