You will receive occasional error messages from AMP-L list processor
indicating mail was undeliverable to various addresses or a command you
sent did not work. This is due to the fact that subscribers:
(1) subscribe and then change e-mail addresses without
first unsubscribing from their previous address.
(2) subscribers mail server will experience problems beyond
their control and generate errors.
(3) subscribers will go on vacation or fail to check their mail
and their mailbox will fill up, causing their system to
reject mail from AMP-L.
(4) Try to unsubscribe from an address from which they are not
subscribed.
(5) Attempt to post messages to the list
<AMP-L at u.washington.edu> or send commands to the listserver
(list processor) <listproc at u.washington.edu> from an address
from which they are not subscribed.
(6) Any of a variety of other reasons.
In the event you receive an error message from AMP-L, please DO NOT post
it to the list. Either correct the cause of the error, DELETE it, or
contact the moderator (privately please) below if the problem persists.
Thank you for your cooperation.
