Dominic - the list is just the thing for you.  It's where you wrote first and
where I found your email address for the talks we have had but to get more
attention to your questions I'm posting this reply also to amp-l.  There is a
glossary for example which defines some of the terms for example LAK means left
above knee, BK is below knee, etc.  Wayne will show you where that is.  Jeeez
man fourteen years and only a few other amputees to talk to.....folks here will
help you catch up in short order.  Fine bunch here.  We argue and bitch but we
also enthuse and empathize and commiserate with each other and are there for
each other when needed.  What computer do you have?  With a Macintosh I can say
use 'Sherlock' for searching the web which will bring up huge amounts of
material.....if it's not a Mac I don't know how you search.

Yeah, the rotator.....you're sitting there and you push a button at the knee and
you can rotate the lower leg around so the sole of the shoe is pointing at the
ceiling which is a laugh.  But the useful part is in sitting in a car or movie
seat and folding the leg under and out of the way. Or pulling on a pair of
shorts after your leg is on.  Very useful and convenient!!
