bethany,
this is not uncommon, as you are a relatively new amp.
your prothetist should just be able to pull a new socket, without having to
change components everytime you shrink.
everyone is different , and your shrink time may depend on several things,
like, are you a diabetic?
good luck.

hi.
i am a 22year old female who has had a BK amputation almost 1year and a half
ago. i am lately having problems with my stump shrinking. i have had to
put on at least 9ply socks along with my allpha liner....things are becoming
too bulky for me! this is actully my 3rd leg because of so many changes. i
would like to know if this is common, or if it will eventually stop and stay
at one size. i don't want to keep investing in legs that are smaller, but
yet i dont want to wear a ton of socks to compensate! i don't like all that
extra bulk. any suggestions or input on this matter would be appreciated!
also, if there is any female out there who has lost her leg bk, i would love
to chat with you and find out how you deal with it all. i have lots of
questions!!!!!!
thanks.
