If you have a spell checker that does flag the word "cant", then
perhaps you need to get the thing serviced.

Go to http://www.m-w.com/dictionary.htm and type "cant" in the
input box.  You'll get to choose between the adjective "cant", the
verb "cant" and the noun "cant".  So, what's wrong with the word
"cant" from a spell checker point of view?
