Dave,

Believe me I understand dyslexia being older than you and having gone through
school and college before teachers and educators recognized how much it could
effect the student. For that very reason I'm very, very careful when I read
or write anything or even speak. Having the tendency to read things
backwards, write things backward and even speak things backwards is a pain.
Makes a person seem sometimes like the village idiot, but it's a handicap
that can be overcome with a lot of time and effort and it's up to you to make
that effort not for other people to make life easier for you. Out in the
labor market your going to be judged by the criteria established mostly by
people without handicaps, be it as an amp or a dyslexic. Your skills, be
they physical or mental are the ones that are going to be examined by your
prospective employer, whether you can do the job or not that's all that's
going to count. Taking the time to gain and practice those skills is
available to you now and writing a coherent sentence, paragraph, letter is a
step in that direction. After all the world moves on the written word learn
to use the tools available to you.

No where is it written that life is fair, because if it was none of us would
ever be anything but perfect. No way to improve ourselves because we would
be perfect, darn what a boring existence that would be! So quit worrying
about labeling others as perfect and as the army commercial states be all
that you can be and leave the others in your dust trail.
