BUAAF candidate Linda Evans

We have been notified that Linda Evans, the upper arm exrtremity amputee who
appeared on the Maury Povich TV  Show last year, passed away recently from a
unrelated illness.The Barr Foundation and the United Amputee Services
Association  approved  funding a new arm prosthesis for her as a result of
her story. Kent Philips LP of  of Abilene Artificial Limb Company was the
sponsoring prosthetist for Ms. Evans. Our condolences to Linda's family and
friends and thanks to Kent and Abilene Artificial Limb Company for their
offer to help this young woman.
