Esther, I know that Medicare is very clear on this point. No billing until 
the prosthesis has been delivered finished with cosmetic cover.

Most prostheses are covered by a 90 day warranty period and component parts 
may have a warranty of one to three years.

Most prosthetic facilities have the amputee sign a delivery slip and explain 
what is going to be billed.

Did you knowingly or unknowingly sign a delivery slip?
