Phantom Pain

I came across a reference to a site that purports to have a possible
answer to phantom pain.
The site is http://www.farabloc.com/
I have no personal knowledge of this product and have not looked over
the supposed research to determine if it is in fact credible. On first
blush it looks hoaky, something akin to the crazies that line there
houses, or wear helmets, with metal foil to prevent the "radiation" from
controlling their thoughts. But a cursory look at their premise does
indicate it may be a possible theory for the pain.
In the past there has been much anecdotal data linking weather changes
to increases in phantom pain and sensations. At first it was thought to
be changes in barometric pressure but investigations have not borne this
out. Maybe its the EMR?
I would be interested to hear from the Doc's and other scholars on the
list.
