Thanks Russ.  You know, the interesting thing is that I have come to
formulate these sentiments via my own life experiences and influences,
which have included, notably, Kazantzakis......and Merton, and Albert
Ellis and ......many others, probably including the man you refer to
(Paul Tillich?).  Originality is not the sine qua non of authenticity.
But I urge "The Saviors Of God" by Kazantzakis for any and all.  George.
