saving my amputated arm

Hank, I think you will live to regret having your arm mounted like a trophy,
down the years. And if you ever find yourself in some legal trouble for some
other, unrelated reason, and the prosecutor finds out about this arm hanging
on the wall of your den, you can bet that will come up in court as
corroborating evidence - you may find yourself the recipient of a frontal
lobotomy. Consider instead donating the arm for use either as parts
replacement for a needy person, if possible, or else give it to a tissue
bank which can use almost every non-infected part of it for some good
purpose: skin, bone, tissue, etc., albeit a "commercial" purpose in that
they sell the finished product, but what the heck - you'd know it went to
some good use, instead of just being cremated.
