I think 'hemipelvectomie' might be better - but the spelling is different to English.  maybe that's not important as long as you have alternatives in the relevant search engines.

  I just want to know which name is easier to remember for English speaking people. Can you tell me that? (beenamputatie = Dutch for leg amputation, a 'been' is a leg).
